Dr. Cynthia (Dr. Cynthia Seebacher, D.C.) has over 25 years of clinical experience working with patients who live with chronic pain and chronic illness. She is a graduate of Life University and the College of Chiropractic, Dr. Cynthia (Dr. Cynthia Seebacher, D.C.) is back in practice serving the East Cobb, Marietta, Roswell and surrounding areas.
In the 1990’s she was the Director of Expressive Therapy at both Brawner Psychiatric Hospital and Parkway Medical Center’s Behavioral Health Unit. She has worked with adults, adolescents and children in both the inpatient setting and partial hospitalization setting. She also worked with Cobb County Juvenile Court System working with teens on probation, along with their families, to improve family dynamics through experiential education (cooperative games and ropes course).
In 1999, Dr. Cynthia (Dr. Cynthia Seebacher, D.C.) left the hospital system to become a licensed massage therapist in the hopes to reach chronic pain patients before reaching an inpatient hospital setting for pain management. She has been a Chronic Pain Specialist ever since, focusing on individuals with Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Arthritis and PTSD. Therapeutic techniques include Neuromuscular Therapy (NMT), Myofascial Release (MFR), Arthrossage, Neurokinetic Therapy (NKT), MyoSkeletal Technique, Primal Reflex Release Technique (PRRT), Advanced Myofascial Therapies, and many more.
Dr. Cynthia (Dr. Cynthia Seebacher, D.C.) returned to the hospital clinical setting once more when she started teaching Yoga and Pilates at Wellstar Kennestone’s Healthplace and continued to see massage clients ranging from elite athletes to Silver Sneakers participants.
In medical and chiropractic school, we were taught that when you hear hoofbeats, think horses, not zebras. This means to always diagnose with the most common diagnosis and that the Zebras were the rare outlying diagnoses. Dr. Cynthia (Dr. Cynthia Seebacher, D.C.) works with the Zebras – the patients who have struggled to have a doctor or therapist understand what they are feeling and are often gaslighted by the medical community. An example of "Zebras" are people living with Dysautonomia - POTS, Vaso-vagal Syncope, "long hauler" viral syndrome, etc. - and Ehler's Danlos Syndrome (EDS), which requires specialized protocols that are not usually treated by most general chiropractic or massage practitioners and is not generally taught about in school.
Dr. Cynthia (Dr. Cynthia Seebacher, D.C.) continues to serve patients with chronic pain and chronic illness. She is continually learning new techniques, new modalities and keeping up with current research to help find comfort for her patients. Currently she is practicing more using Advanced Myofascial Techniques and MicroCurrent, along with Erchonia EVRL Laser and also Avazzia and Alpha-Stim microcurrent. She has also included Clinical and Medical Hypnotherapy to help access the subconscious mind for self-healing, chronic pain, relaxation during cancer treatment, self-empowerment and addictions.
Dr. Cynthia (Dr. Cynthia Seebacher, D.C.) has combined chiropractic care and therapeutic massage as one continuous treatment that she calls “Chiro-Massage”.
Dr. Cynthia (Dr. Cynthia Seebacher, D.C.) is in the process of creating a study course called Healing Vagus to focus on how to improve vagal tone and balance the nervous system.
